Vacuum line and caps

What are some of the preferred or popular vacuum hose that people like to use? As well as caps for all the unused nipples that you end up with during a single conversion. Obviously anyone can go to the auto parts store and get caps. But the caps I've gotten always have a tendency to dry out and harden and crack quickly. I've heard of McMaster car having some good ones. Just curious to get input from other members

any silicone cap is fine. literally any cap. ebay has caps in all shapes and sizes for dirt cheap. as for the hose, any 2 or 3mm (preferably 3mm) wall thickness hose will be fine. dont be so focused on name brands for things like this.
