thucks sounds and temperature reading

Greetings to all 13bees lover's....newbie here...wanted to ask some questions here..

Location: Brunei Darussalam

Introduction:

Machine: 88 s4 tii fc3s jdm spec
Auto trans, all stocks configuration besides some basic mods like blitz air filter, removing rats nests, knight sports kfcd, greddy boost gauge, blitz water temp gauge, front blistien suspension, rear cusco comp coilover, custom 3 inch dp to an 2.5 inch dual y-pipe with an old school dual cat 'jams speed' exhaust.

My questions is

1)there's a loud 'thucks' kinda sound seems at the rear (i assumed on the diff area) everytime I'm engaging to drive ( D ) and within every each gear changes made except when's reversing ( R ).

2)is it normal for a water temp gauge reading to be at 90-98 degree celsius with the a/c on?sensor mounted at the middle of the upper radiator hose .either day or night, the temperature will be still the in the same reading.the stock gauge reading is still 1/4.

Thanks...

Rear diff mount is most likely causing the sound in rear end. 90-98c is a little above normal. Mine runs about 82c and after a hard run it gets up to 98c. Take care.

The temp should climb to no higher than 1/3 of the way up the gauge if the gauge is accurate. The FSM lists what the operating temp should be. Your highest readings appear too hot. Make sure you have the plastic underbelly tray which funnels air upwards to the engine for cooling purposes. And make sure the electric fan located in front of the A/C condenser is working properly. It should come on when the A/C is activated.

What is the worst case scenario if the rear diff mount is left unfixed as it is now condition?
Was it the 2 upper rubber piece or the one with the rectangular shape between the diff & shaft joints?
Thanks

For the water temp, even within 90ish dc,the reading will be not more than 1/3 on the stock gauge.
No coolant loss scenario.
All stock components as you mentioned are still intact & functional , except for a missing 1/3 quarter long foam just below/under the radiator.
Thanks again

It is the fuel check connector which allows one to turn on the fuel pump w/key to on after working on the fuel system to see if it leaks or not.
