Start Up Problem
So I'm new to the world of rotaries. I just bought a '87 Mazda Rx7. It used to start up and die as soon as I gave her gas, but once I drove for a few feet it would stay on. It caught my attention but I wasn't able to figure it out. Recently it won't start. It sounds like it wants to turn over but something just keeps it from starting. To try a remedy I replaced the fuel pump but it still wouldn't start. I'm kind of at a loss.
I want to say something is stopping the fuel system from pumping gas into the engine and therefore it isn't creating combustion, but I'm not certain. Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Np. You should probably do a full tune up. Plugs, wires, vacuum lines, intake manifold gaskets if needed(check for vacuum leaks, adjust ur air screw, check ur timing, etc... plenty of info on this forum.
You'll be a lot happier if you do.
