Solid motor mounts for FC

Are there any advantages for solid motormounts on a Stock FC?

Yes there is benefits. The lost energy the engine makes through movement and what gets absorbed by the factory mounts is not lost and stays in the drive train, people report better engine response because of lack of engine flex, a more direct feel.

The drawbacks are you will feel the vibrations through the actual chassis, if you use your car on the street or as a daily it will become annoying very fast. If it's a track car it's a good upgrade.

If you want the best of both worlds go with poly or delrin mounts but install an engine torque damper. You get the response and feel of the solid mounts without the chassis vibration.
