pulsation dampener fire strikes again

So I picked a 87 rx7 n/a base 71k original miles first time I have ever worked on a rotary motor I am really wanting to know what I need to keep in the rats nest I need it to start and warm easy in the winter as I drive a lot but also want to keep the 5th and 6th port actuators working on the normal system if possible I have a car that already has a few mods so I have no clue what is already missing or not I will be ordering a new wiring harness and umi with dynamic chamber and throttle body here soon as mine were a mess when I got it also getting new injectors all the way around even tho only the primary were destroyed so if you guys have any suggestions or info let me know and if you guys can fix the picture uploading thing I will upload pics but the site hates my cell as of right now and a bit more info on the car it is blue with black 6 spoke 18s has been lowered a bit stiff suspension with strut tower bars front/rear and wrapped header back exhaust and a goofy *** wannabe street racer steering wheel that I'll be replacing with a big fat drift style wheel so I can see the gages as I'm 6'3 that super small wheel blocks the rpm Gage all the way to 3500 and up to about 50 mph

Screw that wheel and no I didn't get the subs with the car or the stereo

Everything under the umi was toasted everything above it was toasted but the secondary injectors and wiring are just fine

Looks like an s4 rx7 by the intake, the rats nest from my understanding doesn't do anything for cold idle as far as I know. The iac isn't involved with the rats nest which helps and also there is another motor (it's name escapes me right now) that will also help. When I had my 87 I removed the air pump, rats nest and emissions and never had a problem in the cold. The 5th and 6th port actuators run off of back pressure from the catalytic converter, just make sure they are clean and work cause the actual rods in the lower intake manifold get gunked up. Mazdatrix.com sells the plates for deleting the egr and emissions and I know there are a few rats nest removal posts. Also check out rotary resurrection.com Hope that helps

I found out that the ONLY purpose for the pulsation damper is: "absorbs pulsation sounds caused by the operation of the injectors and sounds of the operation of the injectors themselves." I installed the banjo bolt mod 11 years ago with no problems to the injectors. I found this information in the training manual for 1986 on page 4-32, these online manuals are a great asset! This page has a cutaway drawing of the valve which shows infamous screw, to me it appears that adjusting the screw will fine tune the damping of the injector noise, I even read a post here about someone concerned about a fast ticking sound from their engine. Once I replace my leaking mufflers I will take the time to see how loud the primary Injectors are.
