Unhappy Losing my mind. Weird Electrical Problem, Alarm/Turbo Timer related?

1988 10AE S4 FC. So, I went out to start my car just as normal... Accidentally powered on Turbo Timer that the previous owner left in for the first time. (Never really cared for it) Powered it off, proceeded to turn the ignition, nothing. Not anything at all happens but the slightest single click that almost seems like it's coming from the top/sun visor area? Once I turn the key, all accessories go dark, and I get a tiny click. Usually I do have to turn the key about 3-5 times because I have the common clicking start problem, but this time it's nowhere near the same click. Before it sounded as if it came from the engine bay, now it's so quiet and coming from somewhere inside the car. Anyway, went to unhook battery and clean terminals (key out of ignition completely) because I ran out of ideas. Hooked it back up, closed hood, unlocked my door. My car starts going crazy, basically doing what it does when the factory alarm goes off except without the horn. (All lights flashing, side markers, brake lights, interior lights) It'll stop after maybe 10 seconds, but if I touch anything in the car, put key in, or lock/unlock/open/close doors; it happens again.

I have no clue what this could possibly be, it's never done this before. I do have a factory alarm, and it works, but it seems there's also an aftermarket alarm. There's a wire running underneath the carpet trailing along driver's side door leading under the steering column and to the center console with a blue LED at the end. This has always been there and turns on once I lock the car but hasn't interfered with the factory alarm in other cases. As far as I know it's been removed, but apparently not all the way...

Battery is reading 12.1 volts with car off even though it's relatively new... Haven't tried jumping yet.

I've searched the forum but couldn't find anything... Any help or ideas at all is much appreciated. This car's my daily and really can't have this happening right now

#1: a turbo timer on a coolant and oil cooled turbo is a waste of cash. Not needed.
#2: getting a car that someone else hacked the wires on is..well Frustrating.
Kind of hard to diagnose as it's a "one off" thing. Not really a Easy fix.IF it was stock then somebody could give you some solid pointers.(hell knows if the guy before you hooked anything up properly)
Personally I'd yank whatever the car didn't come with...that doesn't seem to work,or function to your expectations.

Oh #3: Daily driver...?...buying a used Rotary car as a daily?...(I hope you got taxi money.OR another car besides the rx7).
I'm not knocking the Car for Reliability. It can serve you well if you bought it from NEW and know the car, then it will treat you nicely. If the car was properly serviced in it's lifetime then it should operate without issue.
You bought a headache from someone else and you now rely on it for Daily use.Not the best Plan.
You are now sifting through all the crap that was neglected on the car.
