A little assistance needed
I've been everywhere online and I can't find any information on this, so I'm building up my racecar, it's a 85 FB GSL... I'm not sure if I need to redo the fuel system but that's not important.
I have the leading and trailing coils for a 13b from an 87(EFI yo) and I basically bought the engine and tranny for 250. It ran without a problem but coolant was getting into the oil when the guy sold it to me, so I figured I'd start with the front freeze plugs. I got those off, he gave me the harness, the ECU, and the motor and tranny. I had to buy the coils and I had to cut a hole in my tranny mount. But my problem is now in this order
•I can't find where to plug my coils in the harness
•I need new lines for the oil metering pump (and this are too damn expensive)
•I need to figure out the ignition(I think I got this one)
So can someone help me out with this one? I got pics if you need em

OMP lines can be found in the classifieds section for pretty cheap. I still got my stock ones somewhere. If I find them, you can have them for free.
Also, please don't take this the wrong way, but asking for help gets better results than "code red" does, especially after only 24 hours. I know you're anxious to get the car running, I was too with my 3-rotor FC, but we try to keep things laid-back here to encourage everyone to help out wherever possible.

I'd bet that RotaryResurrection has a set right now. I know he has a set of rebuilt lines on ebay right now, but chances are you could find a cheaper set in the classifieds. Alternately, you can rebuild the lines yourself using 4.5mm ID tubing. Check out Aaron Cake's posts on it for the details.

A little more info is needed regarding what you are trying to do.
2nd gen coils will never run from the ECU in the '84 GSL. That car is carbureted, unless it is the GSL-SE in which case it's a very simple injection system. In either case ignition is provided by a distributor.
FC coils are designed to be fired by the FC ECU, which takes its triggers from a crank angle sensor.
Now, if you are swapping the engine, which it sort of sounds like you are, you may have a complete emissions (EFI) harness which connects the engine to the ECU. However, the coil and CAS wiring is on the BODY harness so you will need to either locate one, or wire them up manually using the appropriate connectors. Note that the CAS wiring must be 4 conductor shielded cable with the shield grounded at the ECU end.
And remember that if the car was originally carbureted, the fuel tank and pump are set up for a low pressure system. You'll need to run new fuel lines front and back, and at the very least use an inline EFI pump on the tank. That leaves you without baffles which I'd gather are important for a "drift" car, so you will need to install a surge tank.
Again though, it really helps us if you give us a complete picture of what you are trying to do.
