Just a few more wires



Ihave just finished putting my 1987 FC 13B back in the engine compartment, I thought Imarked the wires pretty well but this project has stretched on for 3 years. Anyway I have a few wires that have mestumped.


Thisfirst set comes off of the main wiring harness near the end, one is a roundconnector with a single yellow wire with red marks around it. Closely bundled with that wire is a squareconnector with 1 green wire and one brown wire. Where should I look for theother ends of these ?





The next wire is a single wire Yellow with a red stripe anda square connector way down on the drivers side bundled with the oil pressureoil temp or oil level sender wires





Last is a wire coming from under the air filter where it istied to the wheel well, 2 wires in one connector. one is red with a yellow stripe the other isblack with red rings.

Here are the pictures I took of the lost wires. I am sure this is a piece of cake for some of you. I must say Mazda made most of the wires and tubes an exact fit to their locations which made it not too hard to get most of them back where they belong.

Pic one..yellow wire goes to the "pencil like" Coolant sensor in the Block(Keg)
pic two..the black connector goes to a Bell shaped oil pressure sensor near the oil filter pedestal.
It slides over a Rivet looking type connection on the Pressure sensor..

That 3rd connector..sorry..brain fart..can't remember.

Hat Trick !!!!

Thanks misterstyx69 ! I placed 3 of the lost wires with your guidance, I was looking for pig tails, didn't think to look for connections bolted into the block. One wire came up short, didn't route the harness through the emissions control pipes quite deep enough. Then I lost my markings in the solvent tank. I spent an evening looking through the shop manual athe the connector legends and drawings. I am thinking the wire by the air filter box is either for a vacuum switch for automatic transmissions or for the right headlight door. I have a manual btw, Any thoughts from anyone would be great ?
