installed new alternator broke small green thing.
So I was tapping in the backside of my alternator so the bolt that it pivots on would line up and it slipped and broke this green sensor. Just wondering how important it is and if I should not fire my car up. Looks like it's heading into something to do with the coolant maybe. Also above the bolt piece that broke there is a line that may be pressurized but it's in the way of taking the sensor out since it the piece I broke screws out. Any help much appreciated sorry for bad grammar. Can upload more pics if needed

Nice. Thanks dude now I know what I need. I figured it was something simple. So bitter from time it just snapped I managed also to pry loose the hose in the picture to get access and it made a little hiss at first but that's it. I just need to get a wrench set to take it out and replace.
