A Racing Beat type exhaust would be suitable but you would have to decrease the turbo outlet to the 3 inch down pipe.
The exhaust with a presilencer is a nice setup to run.Actually it is what I have on my setup and I am close to 400 at the engine.
I can hear the injectors tick.

Now if you go this route I would think about plumbing the wastegate into the exhaust instead of going to open air.As soon as you would open up the throttle,at least the wastegate would have the rest of the exhaust silencing the noise.

Sorry.I may talk a good game but I suck at my pics.!I hardly ever take pics of what the hell I got!

A suggestion that I would think that would be feasable for you would be to Downsize from 5 to 4..running a 4 inch downpipe then reduce to 3 at the Flange for the Presilencer.
It's quite the drop to go from 5 to 3,so I think that if you take it gradually the Downpipe itself would absorb some "noise".
I remember hearing my Buddy's 4 to 3 inch setup (Himniracing pipe) and it sort of went 'tink, tink, tink' when the car was running.
I can say that your setup is not really an easy one to work with as the exhaust needs to be restricted due to the big outlet of the Turbo.
Most setups I have encountered are 4 inch at the most.
Honestly 5 inch exhaust is huge..not an easy thing to street.Unless you like noise..and sirens.

**read the "how to enter" sticky at the Top of the INTRO section..folllow that to gain some posts and then you can access the Single Turbo Section of the Forum(need minimum post requirement of 10 to get on there).
Then you can post a question or two there.

How about a 5" diameter section from turbo to the first bend and down to a cut out pointed at the ground and then on to the rest of the exhaust (whatever size that is).

You can't easily find an exhaust that will be a good compromise for street and still use near the potential of the set-up on the track.

If you don't want a cut-out, I might use two readily available 3" turbo back single kits as a base to building a 3" turbo back dual set-up. You might get it quiet enough adding 3" straight through mufflers wherever they fit.

I agree that you will get the tink tink tink exhaust leak sound going from 5" to a smaller size; my old set-up was just a JIC 3.5" downpipe/midpipe to Racing Beat 3" turbo back rear section and it had the exhaust leak like sound.

Sounded great with the full 3.5" system on when I gave up on neighbors liking me and daily driving it. No more tink tink tink.

I run a 3.5" exhaust to dual 2.5 RacingBeat universal mufflers. Good for 500hp I guess. I made the exhaust myself.
(Deep sound at idle and smooth RB sound when driving)

I guess in your situation I'd run 5" off turbo aiming to ground, then, room permitting, reduce to 3.5"
all the way back to your Y-Pipe, then split off to 3" duals to 3" universal Racing Beat mufflers.

If this is not quiet enough you could add a 3.5 Magnaflow (racing muffler with stainless packing)
under the car where the cats used to go.

I bought my mufflers directly from "RB" and my mandrel bends from "Mandrel Bends .com".

For the Y-Pipe back you'll need (Four) 45* bends and (one) 5" tube.
That is if there are no major mistakes.
As for the Turbo back to the Y, I do not know exactly what you'll need as mine was already there.

Just an Idea, If you don't weld just take all you gear over to a muffler shop and have them make it
using your own stuff.

This was my 2nd exhaust build and was WAY easier then the Grand National.

Cheers,

Joe

Couple Pics. Hope it helps.

Also, I totally used this guy's build and angle of the RB Y-Pipe for my research.

Here is a link to their race mufflers. The longer the muffler, the better the it will be in reduction of
sound. Oval will give you better ground clearance of course.
I'd call ahead to ensure they are still packing with stainless steel. I didn't see anything
about packing material on their website.

I had a 3.5" Magnaflow on my car with a 3.5" Apexi.. Loved the sound. Super deep and
sounded great at WOT. However too loud for the wife/ talking in the car/ listening to radio.

When I re-did the exhaust I noticed there was no longer packing material in the muffler. So I removed it.

Just make sure it has the packing. Otherwise look elsewhere.

Cheers,

Joe

what would u guys think about if i would run aero exhaust at4040xl muffler in the midpipe to quite down the exhaust
thats a video to show how it works it uses no packing so theoretically u wouldnt have to worry about burning it out right? btw the muffler on the video is a 5 inch i was thinking maybe a 4 inch for my set up... any opinions feedback thoughts or expeirences are more than welcome

After 5:00 aero turbine has a resonator too.

No Idea of effectiveness or sound but, the muffler works like the exhaust mixer on the jet.

Yea I seen the resonator but Wut r the odds that it'll burn out rather quickly cuz of the high heat n pulse the rotary produces

At some point, you simply have to pioneer something to see if it works.

You could always install your exhaust. If you don't like the sound with just the 2
mufflers in the back of the car, just add your per-silencer after the fact to obtain your
desired sound. If you don't like it sell it and try something different.

That was my plan. Ultimately I ended up with only 2 mufflers in the rear. no per-silencers needed. You'd be pleasantly surprised how good and quiet the RB mufflers are.

Cheers
