GA Hot battery terminals

Just noticed this yesterday while trying to crank my car... why would they get hot? Looked online and someone said corroded cables??

Bad cables or bad ground connection. Just as easy to replace them both.

Cranking a couple of times won't get them hot unless you're cranking for an extended duration.
