Someone told me it's the brake proportioning valve, I looked it up and it's exactly what I need. Only thing is that the ones i'm finding are aftermarket and instead of 2 lines in and 2 lines out, they have 1 in and 1 out. Is it possible to bypass that or join the two lines together somehow?

It's just a block of metal that TEE's The rear brake lines..has a hole in it to get bolted to the frame.(10 mm bolt)
As my Good Buddy above said the proportioning valve is located bolted to the brake booster.(with a 10mm bolt,on a bracket)

Yes.. you need that block as it divides the ONE main line to the rear and splits it in 2,to go the right and left calipers.Like a TEE.
Without that you get ONE Brake,as you gotta hook the line to somewhere....or NO brakes if you haven't got that part period.
If you want one then gain posts and put up a "Wanting to Buy" in the Classifieds.
You can also try the part# listed in your illustration and call Mazda and see if you can order one.
Just a "heads up" this section is a TECH section so we kindly ask that you please do not ASK for parts here.
Also,if this part seems confusing it sort of indicates that your ability may be lacking in the mechanical aspects of an automobile.
Since this is a Safety issue and you may not be familiar with the overall scope of this part then I would respectfully suggest you finding someone who may be able to assist you with your issue.
