Fuel Injector Help
I have a 91 Rx7 Convertible and I'm trying to get to the injectors to get them off to be cleaned. Is there an easier way to take off the intake rather than taking everything off piece by piece, and losing coolant. I'm trying to keep costs as low as possible, so any advice or tips are (is?) welcome. Thanks in advance!

The ony coolant you will lose is at the throttle body,so if you partially drain the system, like half way, then you minimize your coolant loss.
Take the upper manifold off and you can get at both sets of injectors.
and there is no real way to clean the injectors effectively without taking them off and having them serviced.
All that JUNK in a Can just does NOT work..save the cash.
Injection cleaning costs are cheap, about $25 per injector so it's not like you are being drained of cash with this "repair".

Thanks. How many bolts are there to get the manifold off? I think I got them all, 4 bolts and 2 nuts, but the manifold won't budge. Am I missing any?

I finally got it off and got the injectors out. What's a god company to send them to for cleaning and all, and how does the transaction work (like shipping them and paying them for services rendered)? I'm just a tad paranoid about them not being somewhere that I can easily go and check and all. I've never had to do it before

most website companies will accept paypal for payment,or credit card.
Injector-Rehab (Keith Gibbons@ KG parts.com) is a good guy to deal with.I have had injectors sent from Canada to him and back in 8 days.
Witchunter performance, also good to deal with.
You can also go with Diesel Injector Shops close to you if you feel that you can't live without your injectors and don't want them to take a vacation without you being close!(.via a tour by the postal service..lol!)

Many thanks. There's a local shop that I'm going to call tomorrow and see if they'll do it. Otherwise I'll probably go with Injector-Rehab. I just need to be sure they'll be back before I leave for NASCAR Tech in August
