foreign object in gas tank.
i know this is gonna sound really dumb guys but a little earlier today i ran out of gas and i was adding gas with one of those 1 gal gas jugs. anyway when i was done i realized that a long plastic piece that slides into the nozzle was missing and that it fell into my gas tank. am i in trouble guys? do i need to have the tank dropped and fish it out or will it be ok to just leave it in there?

Realistically it should be fine leaving it in the tank. However, if you do want to fish it out, removing the rear carpet to access the fuel sender/pump inspection port, then removing the sender/pump you can likely fish it out from there.
You'll likely want to do this sooner than later if you do and it'll likely be tedious. I also recommend doing this when low on fuel.

There should be a 14mm drain plug on the bottom of the tank on the passenger side that you could use to drain out the fuel if your tank is full. Then I would still go through the sending unit lid like valley said. Try not to drop the tank, because it is a pain in the *** getting it out and then back in.
