FD3S center speaker metal clips

FD3S center speaker metal clips
So I just got my '94 RX7. It was missing the center speaker, so I bought a Prosport 3 gauge pod to replace it (and to mount a few gauges).
Of course the Prosport gauge pod doesn't come with the little metal clips to hold it in to the center console.
I've checked the parts catalogs and ever search I can think of (as well as local parts stores generic sections) ... does anyone have a suggestion for a part number or a source for these silly little clips?

I'm not certain on the rules for new members. But my first option would be to post a Want to Buy ad in the 3rd. Gen. Parts for Sale section for a speaker cover.
If you're not able to do that, try a local "U-Pull-it" lot and look for any 90's era MAZDA or Ford Probe (made by MAZDA). The 90's 3rd. Gen. Probes used he same cowl screw covers and hood prop retainer clips. Many other MAZDAS used the same interior panel retainers. My bet is that those speaker clips were used in more than just the FD.

I wasn't quite sure if the clips came on any Mazda part,so I let this thread be approved so you could find an alternative if it can be done.
But Sarge is correct that NO WTB's should be done in this TECH section.
I wish you the best and hope you get your info.
You could always look up: RAY CROWE@Malloy Mazda (Good guy section has his phone number)
He is the Mazda Parts "go to GUY" on Forum.
We know Ray as being the Guy to get the "hard to find parts" and If he can't get them then they do not exist!

Noticed this ebay ad. Has a decent picture of the clips you're looking for. Like I said, I'd bet those clips were used on a host of other cars from that era. .

I'm doubtful you can buy just the clips, but it still might be worth a call to Ray.

Yeah, I didn't view this as a WTB ad because I am honestly just looking for the part number. (I mean I guess if someone said they had them I'd take them, but it really was a search for information.)
I've scoured the parts manuals, and it has a lot of clips, but these particular ones aren't called out.
Seems odd that it isn't a problem someone has run into before.
