engine vibration

I have an 88 turbo with about 5k on a remanufactured engine. It idles smoothly, but as I run up to about 2000 rpm or more while in nuetral I am getting a lot of vibration. I know it should be extremely smooth since it is a rotary engine. Any ideas?

Check the condition of the cooling fan, and the engine mounts.

Also check your oil level. I had an rx-8 with like 8 quart sof oil in it yesturday. The engine ha da ton of vibration. Also check yoru exhaust mounting points and make sure it isn't bound up.
