There's nothing wrong with Fram.

Many years ago a website published a silly rant about how Fram filters were assembled, so it spread like wildfire among all the automotive forums and suddenly Fram was crap.

What's funny is that Fram is the OEM for many filter brands and even vehicle manufacturers. Last time I checked, Honda brand oil filters, at least in Canada anyway, were made by Fram.

same here, never had any problems with the fram filters. and castrol 10w-40 for oil.

I have...twice. But it has been some years ago and not on the RX7. On my kids cars. Gaskets would stick.
