engine goes to limp mode
I have replaced the oil metering pump and after warm up the engine still goes to limp mode The engine can be restarted repeatedly and will return to full rpm but only for about 10 to 15 seconds The check engine light does not come on It runs fine for about 10 to 15 min from a cold start but once warmed up is when problem starts Could it be an igniter? My next step to a garage and have it put on a computer

Assuming you only had one fault code before changing out the OMP and the OMP was the source of the code...double check all your connections and maybe test continuity. But with the FD, IIRC, I had to clear the fault code from the ECU.... i.e. disconnect the battery and press the brake pedal for ~ 20 seconds. You may want to consult the Factory Service Manual for your particular car's model year.

Mine was doing this to. Runs good for about 10 min then just goes limp. I was getting codes of a faulty TPS and oil metering pump. replaced them and the car runs like a champ now. Was pretty easy fix to.

I am not getting any codes car is at a garage now One of the oil lines was broken and I repaired it by splicing it If one of the lines is down would it cause it to go into the limp mode and not show a code on the computer? I beleive the line was repaired into a working condition
