Hey, I want to take off my airpump and replace it with a pulley kit, but will it pass aircare is what im wondering. Do I need to have it on when I go to do the emission test? If so, how hard is it to remove the pulley kit again, and then install it, and then putting it back on after the test?
I also have another question. if upgrading the intake, downpipe, catback, would I need a boost controller to keep it at 10psi or will it stay stock boost?
You can just do what I do. Lower the car, drive up to the emmissions place, and tell them your car is too low to put on the rollers. They gave me a two year "pass", and assured me that when the two years are up, they'll go ahead and give me another one. No more emissions headaches.

A boost controller cannot lower boost past what the wastegate will naturally achieve. Therefore with those modifications, you will need to port the wastegate. A boost controller will only be able to raise the boost.
