Exclamation cold start issues please help!

my rx7 absolutely refuses to crank in the morning. but if you push start it it works every time after that. it has a brand new battery. and a brand new starter. one of my friends said something about a cold start system. and that it might be loosing power??? im so confused right now i just hate having to push start my baby everyday. she deserves to be able to start with out role starting her. her name is "the lil black bitch". lol
i'm new to the rotary world. so please help me. its hard to run in jump INTO racing seats its alot easier if u crawl in and just turn the ignition. help will be greatly appreciated, thank you

So the starter doesn't turn at all? "Cranking" means to rotate the engine with the stater. If the car doesn't crank, then the starter isn't working. Check for 12V at the black/yellow wire of the stater when the key is turned to "START". If not present, you may have a bad clutch switch or starter cut relay, or bad ignition switch.

Now, if by "doesn't crank" you actually mean "doesn't start", then there could be several causes. First, start with a complete tuneup. Then, check the ECT as per the instructions in the FSM. Finally, check compression. If compression checks out, then have the injectors professionally serviced.

You could check pin 2I at the ECU (Green/White wire). The voltage reading on this wire with the key to on should be 2 to 3 volts if the engine is cold. As the car starts the reading should drop to .5 volts or so. If this sensor is operating improperly it could dump too much or too little fuel upon startup. When starting these cars it is best to let the engine fully warm up before turning the engine off.

i finally got it to start cranking better, like a lot better, and alot fast as well. i push the secondary ports on the tb open (the ones that open when the pedal is smashed) lol i hold it down for about 5 seconds. then i get in turn it over, if it doesnt fire right up i do it for 8-10 seconds and it literaly fires within 2 seconds of turning the key..
my car is s shitbox right now. lol wiring is everywhere. the guy before me did a motor swap, and it sure as hell wasnt the right way. its a 86 2+2. gxl i do believe, black leather, well now cloth corbeau seats cause the front leather was riped to hell power everything. one of my friends said he did the gtu motor swap in it. im new to this like ive said time and time before. i have no idea how to tell haha but if you look into the wiring you can tell its been hacked. by the schematics its been hacked a whole lot. i hooked up my radio (the right way) new speakers and all, i cut the car off to go to work and i come back out and then the radio just cuts off, and refuses to cut back on. no blown fuses that i can see.as soon as the radio cut off it started the beeper. now its constantly goin off. saying that the door and the deck lid is open. but its not!! its also loosing power, i have to unplug my new battery every single time i get out or it is dead within 2-3 hours.

any one else had these problems??? or is it just "the lil black bitch"? lol sorry for writing so much i just dont wanna go to a shop and pay out the *** to get EVERYTHING fixed i wanna fix as much as i can thanks in advance

Disconnect the negative battery cable and with the multimeter set to measure amps (10amps) place the negative meter lead on the negative battery post and the positive meter lead on the negative battery cable and measure the amperage drain w/key off. Then disconnect the Black wire bolted to the side of the alternator to see if this is the cause for the drain. If not then pull a fuse from the interior fuse box one by one and check the amperage drain after each fuse is pulled to help narrow down which fuse/circuit is responsible for the the drain. When doing this make sure the interior lights are all off to prevent these lights from adding to the amperage drain.
