Exclamation Philadelphia Area Members?

I never find any rotary enthusiasts at any local gatherings I've been to, and it's upsetting. Just last night there was a huge car meet at Franklin Mills mall in North Philadelphia - like 70 cars - but not one RX-7! I feel like part of an extinct species.

I'd like to connect with any of the members who live in Southeast PA or New Jersey so we can start to form a circle to represent our scene!

Nice. I think most of us have our cars stored or being worked on right now. Do you have a build thread for your car?

I have a 94 FD and my i have a thread on the forums on my Build. Im changing a few things in the next couple months and then pushing the boost over 20 PSI. Going to replace the Power FC to the AEM Infinty and need to upgrade the fuel pump wiring then retune for E85.

I'm about 15 minutes south of Philly in Delco but I rarely get a chance to get to any meets, nor do I usually know about them. The Cars & Coffee at P.J. Whelihan's on Saturday mornings is really the only meet I ever hear about but never any rotary sightings there. I drive a black '88 vert with S5 bumpers and a carbon TII lip.

You can go on Philly Car Meets facebook page, at least to find out about the Franklin Mills meets. I think there's a Sonic down in the city they go to as well. Check it out!

I'm not on Facebook. I stay off the grid so the only meets I hear about are the ones posted here.

I haven't seen a red S5 TII around. I keep seeing a white 'vert with purple wheels driving through Bethel and I heard there's a black 'vert in Springfield that looks just like mine. I also see a white stock 'vert on occasion driving through Aston but that's about it. Never saw 7's around until about a year ago and now I keep seeing the same cars.

I do not have a build thread on this forum. I have one on another forum, but I have not kept up with it at all.

Yea, I've seen the white vert too. I'd be up for a philly meet, might be fun.

I'm only an hour away in Southampton. What are you doing to your car?

Tell me more about this Cars & Coffee meet, is this every Saturday at P.J. Whelihan's in Blue Bell?

There seems to be a handful of people from this thread within an hour of there, might be a good place for some of us to meet!

It's every Saturday at the P.J. Whelihan's on 202 in West Chester. I haven't had a chance to get there yet and I'm guessing it's not happening now that it's actually getting cold but I'd be down to get some people together.

I am in Mercer County NJ, near Trenton. Been talking to another member and there is a Cars & Coffee this Saturday in Mt Laurel, at Miller's Ale House.

FD is washed and gassed up.

I'm in Mount Laurel NJ.
Burlington County

Will be at the Cars and Coffee tomorrow. Just not in my RX-7. It's getting some paint work done at the moment.

I'll be there at 8:30am tomorrow morning for about an hour. Can't stay all morning.

The C&C is very "uppity". Lots of high dollar cars and big bank accounts there. There was an ultima aero 2 years back.... I've been there with my FC a few times. We should try to set up a date and all go in the spring time.

I live in west chester, and have 3 fc's. Probably have a better chance of seeing them in the driveway than on the road, hardly drive them anymore.

Is anyone in here a customer of JPR Imports? Jim had a meet and BBQ a couple years ago and it was an awesome turnout. He said someone else organized it though, picked a date and told him to be there for it haha. Maybe we could get something like that going this summer. Until then, a meet at P.J.'s in the spring would be cool.

I used to live in Exeter Township (real close to Reading) until we moved in October. How soon until your rx is back on the roads?
