I saw that there were at least two FD's there. One with the full Veilside kit? I saw him headed down I-66 west around 9, but I was headed in the opposite direction.

Scott had his FD there, and was parked with the Veilside FD. Sounded like a good time, low key group, no John Force burnouts in the parking lot. I must be getting old but the CF crowd after dark looked like the Ferguson riots. Two sheriffs in full tactical gear to make it feel warm and fuzzy !

I am going to hermit. Rear ended by someone with permit license, not his car and not valid insurance. Gladly it was the work truck.

They were cool about it to me. They knew it wasn't my fault. Since it was a work truck they knew I needed the report. So they were doing their job. Him not so much. I think he might have been taken to jail.

The cop said they had everything they needed from me and I should leave. I didn't press and left. Not my problem at that point. Company covered, I got my report started, tried to get insurance, etc. But well that's why you have insurance. Sadly this is my second not at fault accident in less than a year. So I know my personal insurance will kick up.

I love idiots and their mistakes, always such fun to hear about. Sucks to hear that insurance will go up. Not your fault at all but you still pay a price for it.

It was good times, there were about 10 or so cars there. I'd def attend again even though it was a bit of a drive.

Planning on it, hopefully 210 doesn't decide to claim another wheel stud.

VA DC Area Suspension/Alignment Shop

Any recommendations on a suspension/alignment shop in the local area. Just installed coilovers and replaced my steering rack and all my bushings. Looking for a knowledgeable shop that is used to working on RXs and/or track setups that can dial it in.

I just had my Miata aligned by AndrewTech, up in Gaithersburg. They're a big supporter of the local Auto-x (CDC) group.

Another option if you are looking for experience with Rx-7s and race setups is RP Performance.

RP Performance Racing

They do a lot more with Miatas now but still should know their rotary stuff.

Thanks Think the suspensions are more similar than the engines. What's important is knowledge in adjustisting to get the right camber/caster/toe/etc

Anyone for CFA today? I'm back from vacation but my FD is in pieces in preparation for passing inspection but I could still be convinced to come out.

Looks like I will be moving down to the Front Royal area here in the next month or two. So for the spring trip can use my place as start place if you want.

Any of you guys have experience with the ARC TMIC? I recently purchased one and not entirely sure how to install it. You'd think it'd be easy and it may be easy and I'm just dumb. But I feel like I'm missing something with it.

Anyone up for TrackDaze at Shenandoah on 10/26-27? They rescheduled last weekend's event due to the weather.
