I need to build exhaust i´m in Euroupe advice please
Hi Everyone as usual sorry about my english im from Denmark.
I finally got my Rallycar out of the garage and entered a race what a feeling.
I also got the car on a dyno and ended up with 160 whp.
The engine is freshly build stock 4 port 13b with 12a middle iron (Ports are the same size as 13b sideirons)
I have a dlidfis ignition system wich works very well.
Here comes my question i am going back on the dyno with f3 mixturetubes instead of the f7.
But reading the threads here i can se that my 1½" dueal exhaust that ends ud in 2½" might be to small.
so i was planning on building a new one before dyno.
I cant buy a new one from racingbeat the shippinng and the price just ads up to way to much.
my plan is 2x 2" all the way to the back in 2x 2½" mufflers that means that the 2 pipes will never be one.
is that just insane ore am i on the right way?
Best regards Rasmus Andersen

Collected single exhausts actually perform better on a rotary than true duals because if your primary tubes are the correct length, the exhaust pulse from one rotor helps draw out the exhaust from the other. A 2 1/2" system is perfect, just make sure there are absolutely no restrictions.

Hi There reply is just a couple of days to late i actually build my exhaust a few days ago.
i build the primaries in 50 mm ID and made some Flanges that fits perfectly to exhaust sleeves giving it a smooth transistion. after the first bend i turns into 47 mm ID 2" OD and continues that way until the back i have 4 straight thrue 2" mufflers and it sounds great i have just coated the pipes need ti wrap the headers in a few days and then i will post video and pictures off final result and DB reading since its my rallycar 103 DB is the limit.
PS i made the entire exhaust with a 70 dollar pipe bender and a normal MIG welder the Whole thing cost me about 600 dollars wich i would guess to cost about 400 in the US considering how much cheaper everything else is versus Denmark.
But i guess it isnt untill i get on the dyno i will kno for sure.
