Not sure if it can be used, but the only unit to get would be the one off the 1989-95 7.4L (454ci) N-code L19 engine. That TBI engine was also used in 1996-99 MD trucks. That unit has the largest throttle ID and biggest injectors, but remember that the 7.4L engine was only rated at 230 cHP. Make sure to get the factory FPR as well since those system worked at something like 12-15 PSI.

the question is: why?
those units were barely a step up from a carburetor. sure it works, and it's reliable, and it's fuel injection.. but i would barely even call it fuel injection.
even a stock nikki would probably give it a run for its money.
my old chevy 4.3L had plenty of torque with it but it was absolutely gutless when it needed the airflow up top, the throttle body was simply too small and the injector pattern was too weak with the low pressure system for any high RPM/economy benefit. that thing could barely make it to redline without feeling like i was idling the engine back down, the power drop off was dramatic.
