No, George's car is a touring if I remember correctly - leather and no wing.
I'm Phil - the other red FD in LA. I did some autox several years ago...before the kid came along. I was never very good. Doubt I'll race the new one. Maybe on track if I have a chance, but I hate those damn cones!

So....I am driving down Montano, when my clutch is no longer pressured. (I changed the slave cylinder back in may) I pulled over. checked around the slave and master cylinder no leaks that I could see. so...I checked master, was below min. so I filled it. Drove car again, however it doesnt feel right. Is there a correct way to fill it? something I have to do? pls let me know asap

Try this thread. It's got most of the required info in it. Although it is for a first gen, shouldn't be much difference.

I'm gonna tell you right now that you could probably get a better tune in phoenix... I had Sean at solidtech tune my car and she is way too rich. Car wont even run until it reaches full operating temp, I get hesitation a lot etc.. It's frustrating really, I'm gonna have andy at racefab do my retune when I get a bigger map sensor and up the boost. Andy has always been good and he knows a lot more about the rotary. I'll let you know how he does!

Well it'd certainly be interesting to meet you in person haha. Throw up some pics of the girl and let us know what you need, we'll try and help out where we can. Where we can't, there's a whole subsection dedicated to first gens.

Thanks for the input! Would definatly like to hear how your tune goes with andy. I still have to source out a good 13b-re engine. I hope i can just drop one in but more than likely i will be rebuilding it and going with a single turbo setup.

That bumper looks gooood. Still got the Dual N1 waiting for you when you're ready. I will say this, you need to get an aluminum AST. When my plastic one popped it was instantaneous and just fortuitous that it was only 1 block from the house on the way home. Shooting water 4 feet in the air looks cool, but it'd be a royal pain if it doesn't happen in the drive way.

speaking of bleeding
Hi all, I have been watching this thread while I was between 7s. I live in Taos. I'm ready to dig in now!
I just got my 1980 project. The body is great -sweet. The guy who sold her to me's dad does body work and he did a fresh paint job. He put new rubber on the pavement, and sold it to me. Everything is stock (it's automatic.. I'm dealing) I want to name her Smooth, but she's not worthy. The list is long. I just want a slick daily driver.
First I had to adjust both the brake and gas pedals... Now I need to bleed the brakes.
I've tried to find something posted about accessing the rear brake bleed nipple. I have loosened all the other sites, but of course it doesn't matter if I can't do the rear. lying on the ground on my back I can't get a wrench on it. Do I need to jack it up? use a special tool? get double jointed elbows? Is this simple and I have a mind block?
