Ongoing Colorado thread

I locked the Lounge on www.MileHighRotaryClub.com and pointed it over to this thread. I would rather keep important info that should be saved on that website.

If you need to sell parts locally, put it on the yahoo group as that is the easiest way to reach everyone quickly!

This will be a good place to BS similar to what Montana has been doing for a while.

To start this thread out......I need to get some ideas of what you guys want for our Big 2008 Spring Meet! Here's are options...

RX7/RX-8/other Rotary only Meet (just us)

All Mazda Meet (A meet with all Mazdas)

Rotary meet where we meet up with another import meet like we did at Colorado Mills

Also, what would you like to do? BBQ? Hamburger Stand? Sonics? Cruise to Hog Heaven in Bailey again? A cruise to Central City/Blackhawk? or maybe something new.

No other mazdas. If it didnt have a rotary in it when it was new then they cant participate.

I would like to see a all Mazda meet @ Colorado Mills, a joint meet with MH Rotary Club, and the Colorado Mazda Club would be great.

I think I'm going to try and organize a meet with all of the car clubs! The parking lot at Colorado Mills is huge....Once a car comes in, we will direct them to their group. I want the Supra guys to come, the Stealth/3000GT club, RMevo club, AWD pirates (subarus), Mazda club, us, ect. It could end up being the biggest car meet ever in Colorado! The nice part is I know the club presidents of most of these. I would definately need some help getting the word out! What do you think!

That would be one huge meet. That does sound good, I doubt that we could go do anything with that many people, but I guess we will see.

FAIL. There is no way a cruise would be possible.

Are there any rotary owners out there that actually want to have a cruise up to the mountains?

[QUOTE=SchoolZone;7555134]FAIL. There is no way a cruise would be possible.

This will not fail! LOL I figured out a way to avoid all stop lights. All we have to do is tell anyone who is going on the cruise to cross over the hwy and meet in the Mariott parking lot. From there you dont have to stop since the on ramp is right there. I think we can get 100 cars to go!

Our Spring meets usually have about 4-5 1st gens. As far as tuning goes....I would really like to setup a Spring tuning session to bring a tuner in from out of state. It's still too early but I will start looking into something soon!

I'm on the local Mr2 board and I can talk to them, if you guys do end up being interested in doing a meet with cars outside of Mazda (to get the massive numbers talked about. I would agree that it's certainly do-able.
