CO New engine builder/ Tuner just moved to CO

Just in case you're looking, a friend of mine just moved here from Florida. He's from Puerto Rico, the land of the rotor.

He's been building and tuning rotaries for 20+ years.

Just to show one of his cars.

He's starting here he does street end drag builds and is one bad *** fabricator.

You friend is going to hate the west coast. I'm Puerto Rican and moved from Tampa, fl to Washington. I can vouch That I'm miserable out here. I used to go to the track every month now only the summer. The import scene is much weaker then Florida. Especially rx-7s! I can't wait to move back to at least the east coast. The rotary scene is much respected on the east coast. That's were all the records are made. I used to work on lots of projects, tuning, and racing. Now I have a whole bunch of locals talking about there blowing up rx-7s left and right. Then talking about how putting a v8 swap is the only way to enjoy the car! I haven't popped a motor for years! Must be these crazy gringo's....

If you are not happy with the engine, I can sell you my engine that I just rebuilt. Runs very well and compression is 109-110-110 and 110-111-110. I also have another engine which pulls 95-97-96 93-95-95, this one is out of the engine.

Also what ECU do you have? If its a adaptronic I can look over it and see if I can spot anything that might be off.

I do have a power fc, I need to put a heavier spring in my waste gate, turn the boost up on my turbos and get it tuned. Hope to do that by Spring. I'm about 2 hours away from Springs.

I prefer to street tune.

the car is loaded exactly like how it is driven, but you can dyno tune it after to see what she makes.

I focus more on driveability, not just power.

My engine is solid, just the piping with the turbos needs some re working. Always good to have another engine, the one you just rebuilt is it in a car ? and how much?
