M1 MoTeC for an FC

I am looking into putting an M1 on my S4 FC TII. Its my understanding that MoTeC hasn't run a rotary on one yet so it'll involve some development work. I will get the development version ECU and software. Unfortunately they are very expensive so i wont be able to afford it anytime soon unless i can can recoup some costs by selling a kit.

I want to get it to work with most of the stock functionality, ie power steering, cruise, dash, etc.

Is there any interest in an M1 kit for the FC?

And if so how much are people willing to spend, and what sort of features/modifications are wanted?

You can run a rotary engine with just the general GPA or GPR package. There is no need to develop anything.

They have functionality built in for dual plugs and for the stock crank angle sensor?

I talked to the guys at MoTeC East, since they're right next door to RYE, and they said they hadnt run a rotary in house yet and were looking into it with the development guys.

Also, i want to make it as close to plug and play as i can initially which will require some different strategies for some of the vehicle specific stuff.

Regardless, I want the development kit. I do engine calibration as my day job and work mostly with the Bosch MS5.0 I hate having to pay someone at Bosch to implement some strategy change that I want. I can always find something about a strategy that i want to improve or tweak.

I'd be interested to know how, seeing as Jamie from MoTeC in Australia says there is no firmware for m1 that supports rotaries yet: MoTeC M130 ECU $2860 inc

And: MoTeC M130 ECU $2860 inc - Page 2
