my apologies. i was subject to an extremely long day of vehicle assembly, followed by alot of driving and e85 inhalation which has lead to temporary memory issues. or i could also be sufferin from NMCSIDGAF (not my cars so i dont give a **** )
I'd like to give thanks to every one that helped me out on Saturday!
Black Widow was a great shop to have the tunning done at. The owner (I forgot your name, sorry) was more than accommodating, driving me to the local parts store (30 min round trip). I tried to compensate him for his efforts, and he wouldn't take anything. Mentioning that if I wanted to do something that I should give something to his employees. I unfortunately got involved in my car once I got back and neglected to tip the employees. Sorry, it was not intentional. It was nice to see the the employees checking the straps after every run. This among other things made me feel real confident in there abilities.
Steve, is a stand up guy and can't wait to have him finish up the tune once I fix the motor. Chicago tunning session anyone?
All my friends that were there, Bill A, Ryan K, and Don F were a major help, especially on the trip home were I almost ran out of gas. Almost all the stations that carried E85 were closed at 2 in the morning. The trip home took 6 hours. I was able to keep the car between 65-70 on the way home. Stopping at multiple gas stations made the trip lengthy.
I was very happy with my experience, even though the motor stuck a seal at the end and prevented me from reaching the max my setup would provide.
Brandon, I echo the same sentiments on the shop and Steve. If you get your car going again for a chicago tune, I will be sure to have AI installed so I can boost the hell out of these BNRs.
Keep me in the loop on your stuck seal repair and if you want to get steve up to Chi-Town. I will be in
Nice steve tuned mine 2 years ago with the 6765 billet and I made 517@21lbs. I'm going with a local tuner to see how his tune is. Turblown his name is Elliot. Trying to get 600hp
I came Sunday and put down 361/304. My AIT's were getting a little out of hand near the end, so I was very happy with that. The car feels so much faster than when it dynoed 381/320 on the dynojet in STL 3 years ago. Ireally thought Black Widow was a nice shop with a solid staff.
