For me, it went really good. (my car survived the dyno)
Steve got it to 479hp and 399tq. Turbo limited by my GT4082 journal bearing @ 20lbs of boost.
The turbo was purchased back in 2006 and it looks like the seals might be close to giving up as there seamed to be a minor amount of smoke coming from the center section.
Also the motor in my car is still fresh from my first full rebuild, probably less than 500 miles on it still. Seems that my Own designed CNC porting is doing rather well, because Steve and others were saying that my turbo shouldn't of provided that much power.
Hopefully I can put a lot miles (2K-3K LOL) on it this summer. And next year continue on with my currently in design custom intake manifold and update the turbo.
Thanks to Steve, Bill, Hans, and every one else that lended a hand in this go around.

OK.. so some of us had issues but its looking like we may try to get steve back up here again in may. Ive got myself, sal, sal's friend, eric (the rx8 with the broken intake manifold), angel.. need 1 more and a date that works for everyone in the middle of may so i can try and get the dyno for a day.

FACK! I have to travel for work and I don't know the dates yet, but my hybrid turbo **should** be complete around then. I would most certainly be looking for time on the Dyno.

pinched an apex seal. front rotor bearing had some gouges in it like it had been spinning on sand which probably lead to some looseness in the tolerance.. turn up the boost and thwack.

Not sure I want to share pics yet on the forum. I'm still testing the overall usability of the design.
I could send you some personally, if your interested in getting a set of plates and housings cut. But I would expect you to keep them to your self for the time being. ;-)

I finally got the FD on the ground and drove her around the neighborhood. She needs to be broken in and a lot of tuning. I don't know what I'm doing with just idle let alone a full tune
I got to say, the PowerFC spoiled me, I was expecting a more mature map with the adaptronic plug and play. I really thought it would be plug and PLAY, but it's more plug and TWEAK.
