Hi Jeezus, I just wanted to thank you for the excellent instructions on setting timing on a 12A......I know it has been a while since you posted them but they were easy for me to understand and really helped. I'm working on a car I sold 29 yrs ago that came back to me. So thanks for making one thing easier on my journey.

    Stu,

It normally connects on the output side of the main fusible link. You could connect it directly to the battery, but it would be best to add an inline fuse (55 or 60A). This will protect the alt and wiring incase something shorts out.

Hey Jeez hows is it going. While searching this site last night for help with installing a a distributor and find TDC I came across a thread of yours that was off the hook. You provided excellent instructions to find TDC and install a dizzy on a 12A. Well I have kinda the same problems on the 13B that in Jamming in the Bugeye. Would those instruction apply to a 13B. Also I have a same wiring issue I was hoping you could help me with. Since I had stripped all the 1959 wiring from the car I installed pre-wired 12 circuit an EZ wiring harness to feed all systems. Well I now have the dizzy and coils but only have a single power wiring from the igintion switch which feeds a coils and jumps to a dizzy. I guess this is a hot-rod type dizzy set. Anyways my problems is how do I hook up the rotary dizzy with ignitors and coils to the wiring set I have. Any advice would help as I'm trying to get this thing fired up before winter sets in. Thanks. Dave
