    Wow man you are a wealth of knowledge my friend. Just got my first rotary from my stepdad. I helped him build it about 8 years ago and now he has more race cars so I bought this one. Sounds similar to yours. Runs great except for lag on the first throttle blip which makes starting with the puk clutch a nightmare! The goods. 1985 gsl with the gsl-se running gear. 12a street ported from pineapple racing with the porcelain apex seals. Full racing beat from intake to muffler and the Dellorto. Full coil over's front and back fully adjustable polly eurathane in about 75% of the car. I am in heaven. Trying to figure out jets so I might use your setup from before you ditched the RB intake. Oh and I live in bremerton and am going to start the AutoX scene this spring. Do you attend? Chris

    hey i read that u cannot floor these carbs ont the 12a at low rpm that the lowest rpm u can floor it at is 3k is that right http://www.mazspeed.com/carburetorfacts.htm this the web site i read that at

    hey i haven got the new pump yet but was playn with it an i turned the disberter to the right if u r standin on driver side of the car an the idle went snooth but had no power then i turned it to the left an the idle went real crappy but has alot of power an doint satall as bad when u rub it up what u think a i member reading that the timen had to b changed from stock to run this carb so what u think get back to me asap please

    read line sell a fule pump for the weber thats pushes 3-4 psi but only 34gph but says its good for all street por an good up to 200hp but they sell one that pushes 8-14 psi an pushes 64gph an good for 500hp so i think that would b the one that i would need it i have to have a mim of 53 gph but 500hp man that sound like it would b to much but thes cars do drink the gas so what should i do

    ok i have a 65 pump jet an i got my 160 a/c but to not suprize there is no diff but i did find out my fule pump only pushes 30gph an i did the math an a 190lph is 53gph so i have half as much fule going to the carb that i need so what u think but an even if the pump is to small it should idle smooth still right let me know thaink u

    ok waitn on rain to stop here :{ but i will get those out an the diacharge valve is the one u can see when u thak the floats out right an if so it wull draw n but not out an has no number on it eather i have looked

    pump jets are the screws in front of the idle mixture screws, the big headed ones, under those.discharge valve is in the bottom of the bowl. Fuel injection pump will probably work, but you have to have a good regulator to use it.

    ok it might not b the right one where r the pump jets at so i not getn the wrong number an i have a 180 main an shouldf have a 160 a/c tomarrow an where is the discharge valve an i need to jump to a 300 nidle an seat an i doint think the fuel pump pushes thats much but i think i have a fuel injected pump that will need to know asap thanks
