Hi I'm a new member and got myself into a bit of a mess with a base n/a 87 rx7 I got it with 71k original miles great right well it had a fuel dampener failure and caused a fire a week before I got it I don't know much about these motors at all just did some research and tore the uim off now I'm stuck wondering what all was destroyed on the throttle body and trying to find 2 injectors and connectors and rewiring the O2 sensor and what I think is the coolant temp sensor but my biggest concern is the throttle body it looks like anything plastic and most rubber right above the umi was completely destroyed even tho somehow the secondary fuel injectors and connections survived any help would be awesome figuring this out would be awesome I have wanted an fc for awile now and ihave one I cant drive but you can't beat the price of $750

Priority one: State your name to Introduce yourself.

Now your car will get acquainted with all the other cars on here and get the attention it deserves when you seek info!

Get your post count up and cruise the For Sale sections and you should be able to find some parts for your recent set back.
Fires are a real Beotch and I'd recommend that you just grab another Throttle body as the Seals around the shaft may leak now and you'd never get the proper Air to make the car idle or operate smoothly.
MORE info can be asked or gained in the Technical sections.
Good luck.

Yea Ik right the rims and tires are new 18s with low pro tires the tire set alone new is probably around 550 he wanted 500 without the rims and tires and 750 with well that's a no brainer it cost me 400 for tires for my current dd that's a Mazda 3 I sport so I pretty much said screw it for an extra 250 I don't have to worry about it for a good wile I would post pics but this site don't like my cell and no comp access at the moment

Time add a bit more information on it as well since I haven't yet the fc looks to have been lowered an inch or so and has a very firm but not hard suspension already has strut tower bars front and rear and a full header back exhaust and a friend of the guy I got it from said when it ran it sounded ported possibly street or bridge ported but I have no way of knowing that till I get a wild hair up my *** pull the motor and transmission and do a full rebuild once I have done some more research and have the money of course he also said himself he thought it had around 300 hp but I think he was just blowing smoke out his *** but we will see once I get it running I'll shoot some vids and take some pics see what the community thinks about it oh and has anyone heard of rhineheart auto parts out of pa I stumbled across his shop and he offered me a pretty good deal on basically 99% of what I need and then some but couldn't find any info on the place on here or Google and says he is a rotary specialist
