New 85 Fb Owner

Whats going on everyone!

I am the new Proud owner of a 1985 Rx7 Fb 12a. Short background story.

I meet my buddy Conner about 4-5 years ago, he's good people with some bad *** toys, modded f150, seadoo, dirt bikes, and now an R6...about a year after knowing my buddy it was summer time and he needed some help at his place, naturally i lent a helping hand. Well when I showed up he had the garage door open and there she was... she was in a few pieces here and there but she was there. Now after 5 years i am the new owner of my first home that my Fiance and I have... been living in the house for umm....3 months and it took no time for Conner to plant the seed...he said to me one day..." nice garage you know what you look killer in here.." So i said " what " and with that look he said " a 1985 Rx7 " and well the deal was done.

The car is in Storage at his house still don't want to move it its winder snow, salt and all. i will make the transfer on the car in the spring. I paid $1000 for it. New break lines, new tires , the 12A runs and its fully drive-able. Some interior parts need to put back into the car but needless to say its a fully working machine.

I dont have any pictures of it at this point in time but i will post shortly with them. I have a pretty good knowledge of cars, been working on them since i was 11, iv had a few project cars, 2008 Cobalt SS Turbo making 350+ wheel HP, and a 2012 civic coup R18. after i meet my fiance all the cars went away and I am now a proud over of a 2015 mazda cx-9, current mods on my cx-9 are, HID headlamps, and i have a set of 18x 9.75 satin black Fast hayaku wheels for them.

I have been viewing this forum for some time now and i have finally joined. I look forward to expanding my knowledge of the rx7 and its rotary engine beyond what i already know about them.

Thanks everyone! and pictures will come up soon!

Little from both worlds. I would like to do an over haul on the 12a ( possibly EFI swap with a turbo set up )...give it a good stance some age appropriate wheels, full header back exhaust, stance the car nice. on the interior do a couple bucket seats and re wrap the back seats to match, clean up the interior, short shifter, wanna strip the body fix any issues give it a nice paint job. Im 30 years old i love me some good HP and speed, but really wanna make it just a sweet car for the summer to take out. To be honest...to may plans to list haha
