TX Houston, TX - New To Forum

I bought a clean '93 shell and a bunch of parts from a guy off here a couple months back. I plan to go V8 eventually when I can afford it and this economy comes out of it's slump. LS3 or built LS2 - 500 hp is my goal.

Currently own
'06 Dodge Ram SRT-10 Quad Cab
'08 Dodge Ram 3500 Quad Cab (Work Horse)
'93 BMW 3-Series F-Prepared Autocross Dedicated Car
'88 Corvette with Procharged 424 Bowtie (Street Monster)

This Mazda is my first Asian car, but it will have an all American muscle power plant. I know you hardcore Mazda fans will probably hate me.

I will be posting up a BUNCH of my parts from the shell for sale soon. Keep an eye out people!

I don't need any parts. I just wanted to drop in and say hi. Welcome to the forums.

Did you ever own an rx7 before you bought this shell? If so why go piston engine? To me that is an insult to any Rx7. You have guys like me that are die hard Rx7 fans & Rotary Heads.

If this is your first Rx7 then do some research on rotaries. They are lighter then a piston engine and can produce redicilious horse power! Yes they can be tempermental but if they are taken care of properly and tuned correctly they are more reliable then a piston engine. Did you know a lot of submarines as well as aircrafts use rotary engines?

I personally can not see buying an rx7 to put a piston engine in it.

What ever you decide it is your car and your money. I wish you the best of luck.

Oh by the way wanna see something sick? Just click the link in my footer! I get hard every time I watch it. Just pay attention to the guy in the back ground. He starts off with his hand on the driver fender... His hands then very quickly go to plug his ears! Listen to how sick the beast sounds! Funny thing is... The engine in that car is a second gen engine not even an FD engine! LMFAO V8! Make sure your speakers are on. to me it sounds like a damn well jet engine!!! maybe that video will help you stay rotary! I LOVE IT!!!!

have a piston engine but the the biggest thing that makes an rx7 unique is its engine. Y do people always want to cut up our cars. go find some civic or something and stuff a v8 in there.

Would you put a civic engine in a corvette? most people think of this as disgracefull. Which is exactly what I think about destroying an amazing car to make it no different then any ford or chevy on the road. Im mad at anyone for doing this. You bought the car, do what you want to it. Im just saying whats on my mind

Its his car guys, chill. Is changing the body a disgrace? Is changing from the stock rims a disgrace? Changing the paint? Seats? You shouldn't be modding if you think changing anything is a disgrace

You guys are mazda fans - I'm an american muscle fan. I'm just doing the V8 swap because I LOVE chevy LS motors.
