No sound coming from my speakers

When I was driving home the other night I heard a pop come from my sub, and all the speakers stopped producing sound right after that. My cd player still reads the cds and displays the radio channels, but no sound comes out. I have a pioneer head unit, orion amp, 2 smaller speakers(dont know what size), and a 10'' sub.
Any one have any ideas what is wrong?

loose wire, amp could have died too. My mtx amp would make a popping noise a lot during the hot summers here. I just had to cool it off, then it was fine. Also check the fuse coming off the battery.
