Cd player for FC?

I am looking for a cd player that matches the interior of the FC nicely. What have you guys used for cd players to match the stock red lighting. Also what size are the speakers in FC's?

I just put in an old school Nakamichi CD-40z head unit in my S5 Turbo II. Looks OEM ("amber" backlighting) and like all Nakamichi products, has awesome sound quality. Try eBay for these older head units or the newer and more expensive CD-400 and CD-500.

Speakers sizes are 4" and 6.5".

THanks speed i just looked on ebay and couldnt find any of the older units. I will keep my eye peeled though but i noticed the 45z and 40z are always in green color... is there a button to switch the illumination color? Does anyone else know of any they could suggest?

The CD-40 and CD-45 came in separate models w/ either green *or* amber backlighting so you'll have to find a specific amber model. There is no button that switches the color, although the newer CD-400 and CD-500 do this and mix green and amber. Those early models are (obviously) discontinued, however they do pop up on eBay from time to time. People who have them don't want to get rid of 'em. Good luck, and if you end up snagging one, you'll love it!

Icemark changed out the leds in his alpine unit to match the orange. Something to think about.
