The E6X Series
Haltech is proud to announce the release of the new E6X enginemanagement system. The E6X is based on the same platform as the incredibly popular E6K and offers every refinement that Haltech has developed for the E6K over the years as well as some additional features. The E6X will replace the E6K in our existing product range.
Note the following features of the E6X:
Internal toggle - up to 4 fuel channels or 4 ignition channels are available (a maximum of 4 injection and 2 ignition simultaneously). This means that a 4-cylinder car can be set-up to run with sequential injection and wasted spark direct fire ignition.
New RA8 reluctor adaptor built-in as standard. Many of our customers are already familiar with the benefits of the RA8 as it has been available as a separate module for some time. We have now incorporated it into the E6X. This means better performance with all reluctor style triggers, as well as improved functionality when using the E6X in piggyback mode. That is, when sharing reluctor style trigger sensors, the possibility interference between the E6X and the factory ECU can be eliminated because of the RA8.
Improved functionality with Motronic triggers – no need for special motronic microchips, as was the case with the E6K – simply terminate the Trigger input wires to the trigger sensor and select Motronic as the trigger type in the software. You no longer have to specify whether you want motronic trigger or not at the time of order because the functionality is already built-in.
Easier installation and setup – 4 distinct fuel drivers (Injector 1 – Injector 4) and 4 distinct ignition drivers (Ignition 1 to Ignition 4). This makes installation far more intuitive. For example, Injector 1 will always be wired to the first injector in the firing order, Injector 2 to the second injector in the firing order, etc. - regardless of injector firing mode (multipoint injection, batch, or sequential).
New E6X Software, in the same familiar format incorporating:
Dual Mapping – Switched via the Auxiliary Input or VTECH function.
High Boost Compatibility – Up to 65 Pounds of boost with our optional SA100PSIA MAP sensor.
Additional Trigger Patterns – New Mazda and Daihatsu patterns now available.

ya'll think it's good enouth to lose $100 on? i've already put money down on an E6K :P

I emailed some guy at Haltech and didn't really get a straight answer. He basically just copied down the list of features and was like "figure it out"
As far as I can tell there's not a whole lot of difference. The "mazda patterns" are new, anyway.
