An Insight into Haltech Engine Management Systems

Hello all,

If you havent already seen it, here is a link to a very nice video that was done for Haltech offering a little more insight onto their heritage. Cudos to the guys from Ignition Video from downunder who did a great job putting it together.

Exactly, There are alot of wires, But just relax, and seperate them, and figure out what wire goes where. Its not nearly as bad as it first seems.

Im not sure if yours has it, but check the harness, Haltech usually lables each group of wires together with a zip tie, so the 3 wires for the MAP sensor will be bundled and say MAP, the TPS wires will be bundled and say TPS, the 5 wires for the injectors and say Inj, etc.

Haha.. ive been reading thru the manual and studying the wiring diagram so I can figure out which is what. Ive hooked up the map sensor and TPS which I find as a major accomplishment for myself haha. I need to take my TB adapter and water pump housing to have the holes tapped bigger for the bigger sending units. Im pretty confused on how to hook up the fuel pump. the wiring diagram for wiring the fuel pump in the manual confused the **** out of me. And also.. one other idiotic question on my behalf. How in the F&*k do you connect the water temp wires into those little metal clips they give you? haha.. im stuck right there :/
