Haltech woes????

possible issues

Ok I am having a couple problems.

1. ignition wise when I load my map while under the ignition setup the haltech unit prompts me to check my ignition settings. they are set up correctly for a FD RX7 with stock coils, ignitors, and trigger/home.

2. ignition It appears as if I am going to have to up the gain yet again on my home signal.
- Checked wires for resistance none found. also checked the home trigger device it is within spec according to the mazda factory manual.

3. I have to transition my second stage before 0 vac/psi. No matter how much fuel I give it I lean out.
- Injectors are 850 cc primaries and I am not even close to 80 percent cuty load. verified they are working correctly and have been flowed. also verified no drop in fuel preasure and I am running more then enough fuel preasure. at 0 I am running 48psi of fuel constant. verified proper injector wiring and that the wiring has no resistance.

I bought this unit new and just installed it. I am wondering if it is a bad unit. no telling how long it was sitting as it is a legacy unit.

I don't believe this to be a hardware issue so to speak as if the injector/ignition drivers were bad my experience is they don't work. Let me know if any of you have seen this?

I have consulted around with little luck and Have asked haltech to look into it as well but if any of you have had the same problem let me know

What are your ignition setup and main setup settings? Screenshots would be awesome.

the ignition warning is check spark mode. this only come up if I load a map while in the ignition settings menu. I believe it now to be informational.

Ok got off the phone from haltech. the spark mode warning is informational only.
After further checking the car over I found my triggers had actually come loose. Threadlocker being used this time and re torqueing to spec should resolve this.

As far as fuel goes Haltech seems to think im actually getting a rich misfire caused by the E6k calculating between the primaries and secondaries and comeing up with a value that at normal 1700 cc's of fuel would be fine but since the e6k begins to run the secondary injectors at the bar before the actual transition point I am running too rich at this point causeing misfire and would explain the o2 readings as if fuel gets splashed on an O2 sensor it will read lean. Gonna go back to the tuneing drawing board here and give another whirl at it and see how it goes.

Will let you know.

Turns out it wasn't a haltech issue. I noticed I was getting some fuel spray around my injectors so last night I disassembled it and found that one of my primary injector seat seals was ripped and the other was inside the injector housing?? I go to thinking and I recall how this could of happened. when I installed the injectors after tapping the housing for an npt fitting on the pulse dampener side I initially tightened the injectors down minus the spacer. I realized this immediately after doing it loosened it and put in the spacer but never pulled the injector housing out to check the seal. I guess I didnt think it would have any effect as they were seats. My best guess is that when I did that I crushed them and that caused them to dislodges, rip and one of them end up smashed into the injector housing. The scary part is that I was running 18 psi and other then a ruff idle and a minor transition issue it ran fine with tons of power. Im amazed I didn't detonate on a lack of the fuel properly mixing with the air. I think its kinda funny as well as I slapped myself hard on this one. I spent a whole week trying to figure it out and in the end it took an hour of dissasembly reassembly to fix the problem. mental note and lesson learned NEVER install the injectors without the proper spacer! and now I open the floor for you all to point laugh and call me an idiot lol I deserve it. This is what happens when you rush something.
