haltech elite tuning question

My engine has this very brief lag of power (in vacuum) when I roll into throttle then it comes on as if I'm flooring it briefly. In straight line, it's not really a problem other than a sore neck but in corners, it's making me very anxious since the power delivery isn't smooth or linear. How do I tune this out?

Thanks in advance!

played with transient throttle settings but still no luck. In standstill-rev'ing, there's about quarter second delay between pushing on gas pedal briskly and engine responding. The engine seems to bog for that quarter second and when it comes online, it is bit jerky..

Are your primary injectors in the OE location? FWIW, getting that off idle free rev right on rotaries has always been a pain for me. I tune a piston engine and it just works. Rotaries always give me fits.

Hey thanks for the reply. The primaries are 1050 X in the OE location. If you can share any tips, and that would be very helpful.

Up the asynchronous pulses and play with injection timing.

Hey mate. Don't know if you using the haltech base map but these are the settings I'm using (and my tuner didn't change them)

There is also a good conversation about injection angle as well. As this can vary significantly.

Keen to see what you come up with. Mines fine on these settings.

Wow thanks man. That's way better. The biggest ifference came when I started giving timing. Mine was at 0 throughout. I increased mine couple degrees over yours. Still little jerky when I stab it in gear from 3k or so and I may give little more timing throughout entire rpm as long as it's in vacuum.

Ludwig, async enrichment also did help. It seems to make the power pause after stabbing throttle little shorter. I find tuning transient enrichment challenging because i cant really rely on afr too much. Will try to play with it some more. Thanks again!
