Elite 2500 traction control help
Hey guys, I have Turbo 2 transmission rear housing with FD transmission speed sensor. I want to connect this to Elite 2500 SPI input so I can monitor drive shaft speed for traction control. There are two pins coming from the speed sensor. How do I know which pin to connect to the SPI wire? I appreciate all your help.

Front is rx8 abs wheel speed sensor.. I justsplited signal wire to haltech and oem ecu and left the other wire connected to the rx8 oem ecu. I don't think the other wire is simple ground if I'm understanding the wiring diagram correctly. I'm a little lost about this transmission sensor because it's from RX7 as you know. Do I just ground one of the pins and use the other pin to spi? The real question is whether SPI can detect varying voltages. I thought the SPI input is more frequency based as is the case of either reluctor ring or hall effect sensors. Can spi be used for this type of sensor? Thanks!

Front wheel speed are VR sensors, just like the trans speed sensor. You may be able to make what you've done on the front work. Most likely not. You'll probably end up with no signal at the ECU and degraded signal to the ABS controller. A signal conditioner is the best way to split that signal from the front wheel speed sensor.
SPI can accept the VR signal input from the trans speed sensor, just like any other VR wheel speed sensor.
