E6X (with int 2.5bar)

I've been quite happy with my Haltech on my FD.

I've installed one prior to this but this is my first 2.5bar sensor- works very well and saves alot of trouble.

The only hard part was getting a map for the 2.5bar to start off with.

I never actually found one to do the trick so I ended up doing quite a bit of editing on a 3bar setup and made my own.

I currently running 850x4 on my FD (I never seen a map for 850cc primaries) and really enjoy the drop in replacements for primary injectors.

The larger injectors made it a bit more tricky at idle but nothing major and mow idles solid.

I've only done street tune with a wb but driveability is very good and have no trasnistion problems. The close loop function works very well also.

I have two things left I want to do with the haltech before I dyno tune.

-Figure out the turbo timer
-Use the analog input for the wb.

My only concern is that I won't be able to use the analog input due to the internal map sensor. I heard that somewhere but have never read that in the haltech manual.

I'll either clean the garage tomorrow or try to get the WB hooked up.

All in all i've very happy with the E6X and internal sensor.

I'm not sure how many ppl have actually decieded to use the internal sensor since most times all i see is 3 bar maps so I figure I give my feed back.

You are mostly correct. The internal 2.5bar MAP sensor uses the additional SpareAD. Because of this, you will not be able to connect the UEGO into the SpareAD. This is not entirely an issue, because with the E6X, you would only be able to display the Voltage output from the UEGO controller, and not necessarily an AFR.

We do have Gauges available, where it will display your current AFR's with a LED and Numeric display. With the gauge you will also be able to do all of your "Free Air" Calibration as well...

As far as Turbo Timer setup... that would come in the manual(on CD) that came with your kit. If the description is not descriptive enough... it is typical to find more "indepth" descriptions in the E6K manual(available for download from the site www.haltech.com) And if that doesn't shed light on the subject... just post up your questions...

Cool...

I'm using a Innovative now with a LCD read out but would like to be able to log that vs rpm.

I did see the diagrams for the turbo timer in the manual. I'll look into it more later but don't forsee a large problem.
