e6k no start. help.

Trying to start a new engine. Same tune as last and nothing.. Noticed today that I only have rpm and inj ms for 2 seconds of cranking? Never noticed this before. . need help! Been trying to start this for 2weeks.. Noticed before that the inj ms would go up and down with throttle.. I don't know what happened since?
Thanks.

Does the ignition switch input lose power when you start cranking?

I once had an issue on my E6K where I disabled (key on) my injectors to crank it and build oil pressure and then re-enabled them (key on) and every time I keyed it over to start the E6K would tab back over to disable. Finally enabled the injectors and exited the program and it started no problem.

I had used this injector disable/enable feature many times before for this same purpose without issue, so it was a head scratcher that one time it misbehaved.

Had a few little quirks like that with the old E6K. It has character.

LMS, I'll need to check that... Blue T2, mine is been doing the same, except after I cycle the key it stays. Its after a day and it goes back to old settings. After saving the map. Changing fuel to try and start it.

No, I don't lose power anywhere,. Yet still no signal after 2 seconds... I've tested all the power wires.

If i read this correctly, I have a similar issue

Car ran great, started up within a second or two and never needed any assistance from the throttle to get it to turn over. Held a nice idle at around 700 rpm and it's street ported too! Then i had to go and blow the engine because i forgot to check the meth tank (

Anyway, rebuilt the engine and encountered my first issue. I couldn't get the timing set. I tried the "Hitman" method as well as the "Del @ Haltech" method here: Brian D. Cain's E6K Write-Up and finally got it to start after almost a day of messing with the CAS (Note to self for next rebuild, MARK THE CAS BEFORE REMOVAL!!!)

But still had alot of issues, finally was able to tweak it to get it to start but it still needed alot of assistance to turn over when cold.
Idles really high and cant get it down, timing looks ok and there's definitely a small exhaust leak from the manifold.

I havn't been able to put alot of time into looking into this but if i discover anything i'll let you know. And if i can figure out how to get my maps and post them here i'll do that too.

Since we both use old-*** ecus i figure might as well contribute what i can
