Drivability issues...

So I was driving my car the other day and all of a sudden,
I was at a light and when I pressed the clutch in, I couldn't rev the engine past 1300 RPMs!!
It just sat there and popped/ backfired as if it was "anitlagging, or 2-stepping".
Don't use either, yet.. I Didn't touch the maps.

If I was NOT pressing the clutch, then I could rev it.
Even while driving, switching gears it will do it.

The clutch was NOT wired to the Haltech, so I have no idea what's goin on!!!
I checked the TPS,Coolant temp sensor,CAS, nothing diff there...
Thanks in advance.

Might be gremlin season starting!
Actually check under the dash in the clutch pedal area and make sure no wires are being shorted out by the movement of the clutch.

BTW. You still running a clutch in that thing? I would have guessed a stiff kick in the *** would get it going!

no wires near it at all....
and the clutch isn't hooked up to the haltech..

Can the ecu act up if it gets too hot, because it's like a furnace in my car.

p.s. I usually tie a twinkie on that stick and put it in front of "Betty" the bull and she gets scootin.
