fuel pressure is fine, but you will need a new set of spark plugs.

yeah... get new plugs. disconect the fuel pump relay while you have the plugs out and crank the motor a few times. reconect the relay and instal the new plugs. should fire up.

There used to be a page on Rotary Performance's webpage (www.rx7.com) that described starting procedures for flooded rotary engines.

http://www.rx7.com/tech/unflood-fc.html

Granted, some of this may or not apply to you and your car. Still, it's a good resource and a good place to start.

Good luck. . . .

in 2nd gens, i would always just disconect the silver relay under the driver side (on the gas pedal side), crank and start the motor, and plug the relay back in as the motor start and runs. this always allowed me to never have to pop the hood or even leave the driver seat. when this process became nessecary more often, a togle switch was installed in line. i think i had to do this to every 2nd gen i ever owned except for one.
