93 e6k w/single turbo RE
I currently have a 13b RE motor that I am building up to run a single turbo in an FB chassis. The question I have here is about a Haltech system on this setup. Can I use a pre-wired 93 Haltech E6K system on this? I do know I will have to re-tune the mapping in it but would most of the connectors and lengths be about right?
Hoping someone a little more experienced can chime in, I have never installed a Haltech before so thats where I stand.
Any info would be great!
thanx

no, probably not.
the harness is going to be completely different. even if it were somehow the correct length for your FB, the RE motor is not the same as the REW; the ignition setups between RE's and REW's are completely different. the e6k comes with its own IAT/CTS/MAP sensors (doesnt use the stock sensors) so those would all plug into the harness.
if you're lucky and the harness is the correct length for your FB you might be able to just rewire the ignition and be good to go, but i'd personally just start over and make a new harness and make sure everything is done correctly.
