Even if nothing else happens with this, I'd like to buy the adjustable arms
I feel like I could do everything required to make this happen (if I could find the time), other than the adjustable "sleepiness" of the opening

Long story short, I'm not in a position to make progress on this. Without having a FD it is not feasible. I tried shipping back and forth but I could get no where. Additionally several companies failed me, leading to more setbacks.

Hey Dan,

No worries. You gave it a great effort and never quit. That said, the stars just didn't align.

However, I've been working with David behind the scenes and we're making progress.

As of now...

1) Shrouds have been 3D scanned. When they move into production, we'll most likely do vacuum formed plastic, not fiberglass.

2) Housings are on their third prototype (pictures haven't been posted yet, but they look great). This will be a laser cut / welded aluminum housing, fully bolt-on / reversible, that replaces the stock buckets (no cutting).

3) Test fitting is happening weekly.

I'm hoping in under 90 days we'll open the discussion to actual Group Buy Interest and start nailing down things like LED vs Halogen vs HID, lighting color options, etc, etc.

Prices come later, Group Buy rules and all. But probably on par with SBG HID conversions. Waiting to get some numbers back on some of the bigger pieces of the kit.

I bought a ring and will get engaged by the latest January 2018. Looks like my previous comment of getting married and having kids before this is complete will possibly come through.. Giving you a bump

Too funny. I do know Matt has progressed very far with this so eventually you'll see something really good.
