I have been working a lot more lately so the movement on this has slowed but after it seems like the consensus is for the gold sticker, that's what we will be producing. I am probably going to take the gold and darken it just a hair so it is not too bright but other than that, we are ready to start printing. I'll be moving towards the group but soon but I'll update before then.
Sorry for the long delay on another update. I never wanted to start an interest thread that dragged on so long. Now for the update....
Got the stickers printed. Looked great. Was ready to move to the actual Group Buy/Sale and then we found a printing TYPO!
I was crushed. We had a good free, non busy time at the printer and then was literally about to make my post then found that there was an issue with one of the words. Just wanted everyone to know that I take this seriously and wanted the sticker to be very detailed and of high quality. Not sure how long now but I am just waiting for them to get re-printed. Could be a week, could be two. Thank you for your patience and interest.
The good news out of this? Prices will be great. I think you all will be very pleased with everything.
Apologies to the long delay. I travel out of town for work a lot and when I started the interest thread it was during a long gap between jobs which I thought I could turn this out real quick and just mail them while I was on the road. I realized it wasn't going to be as quick as I wanted to do this. Trying to work through some printing issues and make sure the quality is good and being gone has been the problem.
Update: I have been told they would be ready this week. I also no longer have to go out of town for several months so I will be on top of this. Once I have them in my hand, I will immediately post pictures and they will be for sale in THIS thread (admin approved).
I really do appreciate you all being patient and hanging in there.
Update: Stickers will be ready next week. I was banking on getting them today but I was busy with some stuff for a friends wedding.
Price: Right now I am aiming for less than $10.00 a piece. That will include the shipping/mailing. I am going to try to offer them lower but that depends on postage costs which should be low....then pricing will be adjusted.
I will be mailing these out in a bubble envelope with the stickers in a cardboard sleeve to protect them.
Is there a 'designated spot' for the decal? I have that issue of MOTORTREND stashed somewhere, and I seem to recall the decal in the bottom left corner?
