Respeed Steering Rack Group Buy

Yeah I'm not to keen on the FC swap because when I planned the build I thought I would be able to get the RE-speed setup so I already did the GSL-SE conversion and bought wheels to fit 4x114.
I cant get in touch with REspeed either so I'm thinking I may just have to fab something myself since I'm pretty stuck on going rack and pinion for this car.

Re-speed was the only company (recently) that made a bolt in rack and pinion kit. At one point a company called CP Racing made one (about 10 years ago) which also suffered a similar fate - they basically just disappeared....
For what it's worth you can still do the FC subframe and keep your 4x114 pattern - the S4 base models had that lug pattern, you would just need those hubs. There are writeups in the FC section on how to use T2 brakes with those 4 lug hubs, or you could just use the base model brakes if you don't need the bigger stuff... Just food for thought

I am thinking about doing one with the rack off a suzuki swift, it is electric, and has the motor on the rack. It is very popular with vintage rally guys and should fit fine on our cars
